1. How do I order?

You can choose to order our wines by consulting our complete catalogue (pdf) and then by writing  to us using the form found in"contacts". Credit cards accepted: VISA, MASTERCARD, AMEX. We do accept wire transfer. You can also pay through the  PAYPAL system. Remember that it is NOT necessary to have a PayPal account to make a payment.

 

2. How can I pay?

You can order by sending us an email using the form found in "contacts" and then pay by bank transfer to the following coordinates:

3. Which shipper did you choose? What are the shipping rates and delivery times?

We chose the Mail Boxes Etc. (office # 537 of Figline Valdarno, Florence), a  company which has specialized for many years in shipments of bottles of wine all around the world. The bottles go into styrofoam boxes and the packaging is 100% safe. All shipments are insured.
   

4. Where are the bottles kept?

 Our wine shop is located in one of the oldest buildings in Greve in Chianti. Our cellars date back to  the 16th Century where  the  bottles  rest in a cool environment away from light and where  the temperature and humidity are constant.

 

5. How do I know if my order has been processed?

We will send you a confirmation email as soon as we receive your order. The shipment  will take place only after the receipt of payment  .

 

6. How does the "right of withdrawal" work?

In accordance with the requirements of the most recent Italian legislation (Legislative Decree 185 of 22/5/1999), you will always have the option to cancel the purchase, simply sending us an email using the form under "contacts" and returning the merchandise within 10  working days from the delivery thereof. The return of goods will be at our expense and we will refund all costs paid within 14 days after the withdrawal  of the goods .

 

7. Do you have a newsletter?

Yes. You can subscribe to our newsletter using the form at the dedicated page on the site. We will send you special  offers and information about new products (about 12 newsletters a year). You will be free to  cancel your registration anytime. All your personal information and details are highly protected and used solely for circulation within the company in relation to the Italian Legislative Decree n° 196/2003.

 

8. What is your policy on privacy?

 

Information ex art. 13 Leg. 196/2003 on privacy:

Dear User,
we wish to inform you, pursuant to Article 13 of Legislative Decree 196/2003 laying down rules for the protection of persons and other subjects regarding the processing of personal data, the data you provide will be used in accordance with the principles of fairness, legality, transparency and protection of your privacy and your rights.
The data is processed by computer  to provide services to send newsletters and to elaborate   statistical and market surveys.
 Your data will beprocessed using methods that ensure  security and confidentiality.
The  information you provide will not be transmitted or disclosed to third parties, private or public, except in an aggregated and anonymous form .
Refusal to provide the information marked as mandatory nullifies the subscription and consequent sending of the newsletter .

We remind you that  at any time you can exercise your rights as described under Article 7, reproduced in full below, by sending an email to enoteca@chianticlassico.it

3. You have the right to obtain:
a) updating, rectification or, when of  interest, integration of data;
b) erasure, transformation in an anonymous form  or the blocking of data processed unlawfully, including data whose retention is unnecessary for the purposes for which the data were collected or subsequently processed;
c) certification that the operations in letters a) and b) have been notified, also as regards their contents, to those to whom the data was  communicated or disseminated, unless this requirement  is impossible or involves  manifestly disproportionate  means in respect to the protected right.

4. You have the right to object, in whole or in part:

 

a) for legitimate reasons to the processing of personal data,even though pertinent to the purpose of collection;

 

b) the processing of personal data for purposes of sending advertising materials or direct selling or for carrying out market research or communication.
